Bonds are surprisingly steady on the news that the Estonian parliament wouldn’t support Air Baltic with fresh equity. We think the Baltic states need an airline, but we don’t know the details that were on offer and the negative vote will have been visible beforehand. Still, we struggle to explain the tenaciously proud bond price in the 40s.
