Altice SFR France - comment

Bouygues Telecom, Free (Iliad Group) and Orange have confirmed that the consortium commenced due diligence in early January on a potential transaction to acquire a majority stake in Altice France. Legal and financial terms have yet to be agreed, and any transaction would be subject to regulatory approval, given that it would reduce the number of major mobile network operators in France from four to three.

The initiation of due diligence may also have implications for parallel asset sale processes within the Altice group, as it could influence buyer appetite, valuation expectations, and the sequencing of any disposals.
