AMS Osram - comment

AMS Osram has announced an agreement to divest its Entertainment & Industry Lamps business to Ushio for €114 million. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026. AMS Osram has provided limited details regarding the deal.

The Lamps & Systems division reported €1 billion in revenue for FY24, with approximately 18% attributed to non-automotive segments. Based on this, the Entertainment & Industry Lamps unit likely generates up to €180 million in annual sales, and potentially less. This implies a valuation of approximately 1.0x sales.

The company is scheduled to report results on Thursday.
