ASDA has completed the separation of its IT systems from Walmart, so losing the head of IT after only 15 months in the job is not as disastrous as it might have been. It is possible that Matt Kelleher was employed to bring the IT project to a successful conclusion, and his role is now redundant. This is supported by the fact that his responsibility for his team is now split.
