ASDA - comment

Around 4,500 of the 30,000 SKUs in a large ASDA store are now being discounted. ASDA is trying to get suppliers to bear some of the cost of price support, but is almost certainly seeing pushback. The cost cuts are not yet showing up in improved volumes, but we had expected it to take at least four quarters.
