ASDA - comment

The letter from the union is just a warning shot, and previous GMB strikes have been small, creating only minor disruption for ASDA. Even if strike action were proposed, we would not expect significant operational problems for ASDA; however, the publicity would be unwelcome for the company. ASDA is investing in additional shop floor hours, but needs to keep a lid on costs.
