ASDA - comment

Tesco is responding to ASDA’s price drops in an effort to protect market share. The 5% - 10% gap on average baskets is expected to take three years to implement, so we are not surprised that the cheapest basket is volatile. However, we would expect to see some signs that ASDA is getting some traction at its Q3 results statement (no date confirmed yet, but we expect it within 10 days)
