ASDA/Morrisons/Iceland - comment

Aldi's investment in its stores is a response to investment programs by the rest of the industry. Aldi/Lidl are already cheaper, but run on fewer SKUs than the larger groups. Extending capacity on a store level helps increase SKUs, but this is marginal. Some older stores may appear a bit tired, given the previous focus on new outlets. Nothing in the industry stands still.
