Atos - comment

Atos appointed four senior executives to assist in its operational turnaround, which is required to right-size the business. The four appointments, in various roles including Chief Technology Officer, Communications, M&A and Strategy, all allude to installing new personnel to drive the latest transformation plan. It is unclear if these appointments are replacements or how this will be perceived internally. 

Still, a telling tag line is the quote from the Chairman and CEO that “their arrival reflects shared confidence… as well as trust in our ability to turn this into appreciable growth in revenue and profitability over the next four years”, confirming our view that Atos remains an equity story.
