With a price point of nearly €60, Birkenstock is inevitably going to attract cheaper competition. Birkenstock is aggressively trying to prevent manufacturers (like Tchibo) from selling cheaper but similar footwear. The company’s lawyers will continue to keep an eye on the designs of cheaper cork-soled shoes
