Heimstaden Bostad - comment

Reaffirming our recent observations that the stress experienced in the European real estate market is now firmly behind us, Heimstaden Bostad is issuing a new IG Green bond this morning, priced at approximately 185bps over. The use of proceeds will be to finance or refinance green or sustainable projects, in accordance with Heimstaden Bostad’s Green Bond Framework dated 2023. This issuance further diversifies the company’s funding mix and, over time, will support Heimstaden in reducing its reliance on secured funding.
