Ineos Group - comment

The FT article contains no new news to followers of the Ineos Group story, and therefore has no real impact on trading. However, any delay is detrimental, and the article further emphasises the potential delays. 

The FT article does not introduce new information. Instead, it draws on disclosures in the Annual Report, highlighting potential delays to the Project One facility arising from the conflict in the Middle East. The company has not provided any confirmation of delays. In its bondholder presentation in late February, management stated, "Last process modules close to completion with final 2 shipments in Q1 2026”. By contrast, the Annual Report provides slightly different timing, noting that "shipments began arriving in Q3, 2024 and continued throughout 2025, with the final two deliveries from the UAE scheduled for Q2, 2026”.
