Isabel Marant - comment

Prada has agreed to buy Versace for $1.375bn or 1.3x LTM March 2024 LTM Revenue. Prada has at least benefitted from the tariff debacle, with the selling price reportedly $200m lower on the back of Trump’s trade war. Capri, the seller, bought Versace from the family for €1.83bn in 2018. 

It is hard to justify using this multiple to value Isabel Marant, but on that basis would equate to c.€240m valuation or 65-70 recovery. It is difficult to put any credence to this recovery value.
