Having store staff walking about the store filling baskets is the least efficient solution, particularly when it is their second job. In-store picking leverages the store base, but is not a cost-free option. In-store fulfilment has a place in the online offering, but it is unlikely to replace the use of customer fulfilment centres for Morrisons.
