Stonegate - comment

The market had been anticipating this strong performance after other pub groups had already reported on the positive trading environment. Stonegate themselves have made progress on reducing the managed estate, and the residual (to be only marginally reduced into this September) is halting its fall. Management did not want to be drawn into discussing the Platinum pub sale and gave no incremental information.
