Following a few extra calls for liquidity and amid the labour leadership debate, crunch time is coming as Ofwat meets to assess the bondholder proposal. Counterintuitively, Andy Burnham altruistically wishes his Manchester constituency to shoulder some of London’s burden and use northern taxpayers' money to pay for London bills. Maybe he is a better man than we thought? Anyhow, it puts pressure on the deal, and it’s all hands on deck this week.
