Victoria PLC - comment

Victoria PLC has confirmed the retirement of Group CEO Philippe Harmes, as flagged in October, and will not replace the role, instead empowering divisional management teams to lead their businesses directly. The group has also reappointed Steve Byrne as Chief Executive of UK Flooring, following his departure in July 2023. While no trading update was provided, Executive Chairman Geoff Wilding noted that recent conditions have been exceptionally challenging for the sector.

Bond prices are unlikely to react to the management changes, although the absence of a further profit warning will offer some relief to bondholders.
