Worldline - comment
Block’s ambitions to shed nearly half its workforce through AI, is a straight read across to Worldline, as different as both companies may be. The question will be how fast each player moves. Shedding workers in France is expensive, and accordingly, Worldline’s plans are comparatively slow, even though it starts from an outsized workforce in the first place. But allowing leaner peers to compete on price could put even more pressure on the likes of Nexi and Worldline in the coming years.
