HY and Distressed Analyst

Sarria is the first call for a coherent view of the B- and below end of European credit, with buy-side depth and sell-side pace. We are an independent London team covering distressed and event-driven names primarily for the buy-side — approaching 100 issuers, followed name by name, bottom-up and top-down.

Our investment ideas are not reports that hand the decision to someone else, but investment-committee-grade expressions of our convictions. We capture our P&L in a detailed, open track record.

With that in mind, we are looking for one or more HY Long/Short Analysts who relish the chance to learn a structured approach to fundamental credit analysis in a modern, AI-enabled environment.

You will own fundamental analysis on a book of high-yield credits and keep it current as the names develop. You'll work closely with the team to form Sarria's view on each name - a view you contribute to and are expected to move.

You will work across the full spectrum of fundamental analysis: industry, company, competitive position, modelling, valuation, legal and risk, feeding a constant flow of ideas into the portfolio.

From early on, you'll engage directly with company management, funds, advisors, banks - the specialists who operate in this space.
