Aston Martin - comment
The refusal to supply under a contract is a serious step for a supplier. However, Aston Martin is now receiving the parts, and production has was not halted, but this is not a good look. We will examine trade creditors when the half-year numbers are published in August to confirm this is a one-off.
IMR, which supplies exterior and interior trim and central console parts, halted deliveries, claiming it feared Aston would not pay. A temporary court injunction means parts are now being delivered, but a long-term solution is needed.
